I’m back!!!! It was a long six months and boy am I glad that it is over with. When we left Norfolk, it was a cold, rainy day in February. When we returned, it was a hot rainy day in Aug. ! Which was a better day? Coming home! I know that a lot of people ask the question, isn’t going underway to other countries and seeing new places why you join the service? The answer would have to be yes. But I think in my case that there was a much stronger force involved. The good Lord played a big part in it. I believe that he placed Kim and myself here for the kids. I have just finished the last trip over seas that I should have in my Navy career. It was a good tour but I am glad it is over! I had a lot of good times with friends and co-workers. I have put together some pages and even did my own backgrounds so I hope will enjoy your short trip threw six months.
