LECTURER INFORMATION
Theodore Dumas, PhD is an acclaimed researcher who studies the relationship between behaviour, the brain and disease. Dr Dumas earned his Masters and PhD degrees in psychology from the University of Virginia and received the University's Distinguished Teaching Fellowship for his development of a course on chronic stress and disease. Today Dr Dumas teaches and conducts research at Stanford University, where he is a postdoctoral fellow. Students and health professionals applaud Dr Dumas's ability to stimulate interaction with participants and relate the latest research and information in an entertaining manner. For his enjoyment and personal stress relief, Dr Dumas plays and performs original drum music.
