Concentration - Depth Series (Chemistry) Application
Using the Chemistry - Depth Series application of GWW you may create a data base with various chemical constituents related to the depth of sampling. This is especially important in cases when the sampling is repeated over a drilled hole depth, and samples are taken from soil and water as the drilling progresses. Likewise, in saline water environments such as in coastal aquifers, the sea water intrusion may take place after a prolonged pumping.
One may use this application to store and process various data that are depth-dependent. One possibility is to store borehole logging data, such as spontaneous potential, resistivity, neutron, gamma ray, acoustic, etc. These data can be presented along wells in cross sections.
The following two screens demonstrate the use and
capabilities of the Chemistry-with-Depth Application. Actually, instead of chemical data, borehole geophysical data are stored and presented
