Lakeside view in the summer. (The house isn't crooked just the photographer)
Our dock and our little run around. Seeley's Bay is located on the beautiful Rideau
Canal System and our house is on a small shallow bay of the main bay that gives Seeley's
Bay its name.
The first day of the great Ice Storm of '98 that crippled most of eastern Canada
and some of the Northern states for two weeks last January. The ice rain fell for 3 days,
as you can see from this picture of the first day the trees didn't stand a chance. By the
next day they were down over all of the roads and had downed power lines and transmission
towers.
