Hello all!

First of all, would like to apologise for taking such a long time to write to you all.  Been pretty busy lately because were occupied by stuffs at work.  It was pretty hot today. 32° Celsius.  Remains me of the weather back at home and frankly speaking I don’t enjoy it at all.  I do hope that all of you are in best of health.  As for myself, I think I gained some weight because I didn’t manage to exercise the way I do back in Penang.  So, I take up the initiative to cycle to work nowadays.  Take me about 30 to 50 minutes to reach my working place, depending on how fast I cycle.

Didn’t manage to visit around much due to work as I mentioned earlier.  The last outing was in the middle of last month.  I went to further north of London to a place call Warwick (pronounce as War-Rick).  Went all the way there because of it’s famous castle.  The named, as some of you might have guessed it already, is Warwick Castle.  You are not going to believe it but I spent almost a day there!  Some of you might be wondering how on earth did I spend my time there.  After all, how much can one see in a castle, right?

Ehm… where shall I begin?  The castle, for once, is different from any of the castles that I had visited so far.  The whole place is well preserve.  They have staffs wearing medieval clothing, guiding you around, telling the visitors everything about this castle.  As the castle was believe to be haunted during the last century, they management have even take the effort to hire staffs and redecorate that one particular section of the castle to re-tell how this castle was believe to be haunted.  Of course, I have to pay for it (*SIGH*).  Only a small group (10 max) are allow to enter at one time and it was really scary (not for me of course) as some of visitors from both the group before me and mine leave this tour at the very beginning of this tour.  Unfortunately, no cameras are allowed or else I will definitely snap some pictures to show you all how good were the effects and the actors. Some other activities include jousting, sword and even archery competitions.  Some stage plays, which I do enjoy watching as they made some of the audiences’ part of the play by pulling them from the crowd during the play.  I managed to climb the tallest tower in the castle and it is no easy job.  The steps are small and wasn’t well light, making it harder to see.  But it was worth it as the view up there was magnificent.  The winds are extremely strong and the sun was glaring bright up here as you can see in one of the picture.   I do apologise for not having a good camera to snap some good pictures up there.

Would love to tell you all more about it but I think some of you might be yawning now after reading such a long mail.  So, take care for now and check out some of the pictures alright?  Cheers….

God Bless.

Peace,
me

PS:  Miss you all lots!
