Fritz was deported to Gurs together with his mother Lina.

"Fritz Erlanger lived in Perpignan (South of France) during the war before being deported to Auschwitz via Drancy (March 27th 1944 convoy 70 - 20 days after his mother Lina). This information was given to me by the Archives du Centre de Documentation Juive Contemporaine". Claire Erlanger 2001
