Ephphatha! At the Dwelling Place is located in Davenport, Iowa. Ephphatha is a non-profit organization staffed by professionals offering Christian Counseling, Spiritual Direction, and Workshops.
Retreats, prayer ministry and lay counseling are offered through our new "offspring" ministry, Eagles' Wings.
Our name, "Ephphatha!" is taken from Scripture, Mk. 7:34
And people brought to him a deaf man who had a speech impediment and begged him to lay his hand on him. He took him off by himself away from the crowd. He put his finger into the man's ears and, spitting, touched his tongue; then he looked up to heaven and groaned, and said to him, "Ephphatha!" (that is, "Be opened!")

Ephphatha! is staffed by Christians who believe that Christ is the healer and it is in Him, through Him and with Him that those who come seeking are helped and healed.
