Brian Eddleston, born in Mossley, near Manchester, UK, where he pursued a career in the construction business before moving to Failsworth in 1960. Most of the line drawings on this site were produced during this period. In 1976, his lifelong wish to paint landscapes began and he discovered that watercolour and pastel best suited his style. He joined Salford Art Club in 1986 and exhibited at various galleries including Salford Art Gallery. He has his own gallery at home and performs pastel demonstartions throughout the Northwest of England. His most notable work includes scenes from the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
Developing from his art demonstrations is a career as a local "personality". Apparantly he is giving Lancashire Dialect monologues and telling stories. This has yet to be witnessed and verified by me.
