The purpose of Community Baptist Church as a church body "is to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the who measure of the fullness of Christ."
We accomplish this through...WORSHIP: Praise, edifying and glorifying; Prayer, humble and specific; and Preaching, Biblical and Challenging; WORK: Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, demonstrations, Nursing Home Ministries, etc., and WITNESS: Home and Foreign Missions, street evangelism and personal sharing.
Community Baptist Youth Ministries include Junior BYF, Senior BYF, Pioneer Girls and Boys, College and Career. The Adult Ministries include Men's Softball, Women's Softball, New Member luncheon, Coffee Hour, Women Alone and Promise Keepers. Our Lay Ministries include Nursing Homes, Prayer Fellowship, Prison Ministry, Elijah's Soup Kitchen, Prayer for Youth, Women's Prayer Fellowship, Street Ministry, Women's Bible Study and Tres Dias
