Hattie Elizabeth Parscale Maroney, daughter of Albert and Ollie Jemes Parscale, was born January 16, 1908, in Dallas County, Missouri and departed this life June 19, 1998 in Springfield, Missouri. At the time of her death she was ninety years, five months
and three days of age.
In the late 1920's, she was united in marriage with Joe Maroney. Joe preceded her in death in the late 1970's. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Hattie was a member of the Eureka Methodist Church where she served as Secretary of the Sunday School. She was also a member of the Helping Hand Club of Eureka and Rader where she became well know for the beautiful quilts she had made. She is survived by
everal nieces, nephews, and many friends.

My name is Jim Long and I definitely have roots in Missouri. My great-great grandfather is Francis Marion Long, buried in Mountain Grove. He died in 1947. One of his 10 children _ James Marshall _ was born in Mountain Grove, as was my great-grandmother, E
ma Hughes. A Mountain Grove school photo from 1903 seems to indicate most of the kids were from the Long or Hughes families.
I'm looking for more info on Francis Long (a.k.a. Frank Long). His father was James Long, born in Tennessee, died in Missouri.
