1. Jabez¹ Lewis was born 6/10/1670.

He married Experience Hamblin in Barnstable, MA, 2/20/1695. Experience was born in Barnstable, MA 4/16/1674. She was the daughter of John Hamblin and Sarah Bearse. Experience died 7/26/1766 at 92 years of age.

Jabez Lewis and Experience Hamblin had the following children:

2 i. Eleanor² Lewis was born on (birth date unknown).

3 ii. Antipas Lewis was born before 10/15/1730, the first event for which there is a recorded date. He married Martha Bearse in Barnstable, MA, 10/15/1730. Martha was born in Barnstable, MA 11/19/1702.

4 iii. Naomi Lewis was born on (birth date unknown).

5 iv. John Lewis was born in Barnstable, MA 8/27/1696.

6 v. Jabez Lewis was born 1698. Jabez died 1732. He married Sarah Lincoln 2/27/1723/4.

7 vi. Elnathan Lewis was born in Yarmouth, MA 8/27/1702. Elnathan died 6/16/1782 at 79 years of age. He married Priscilla Bearse 10/16/1735. Priscilla was born in Barnstable, MA 6/5/1713. She was the daughter of Benjamin Bearse Sr. and Sarah Cobb.
