Gardner Howe had the following child:

2 i. Alfred G.² Howe was born 1827. Alfred died 1864. He married Sophia D. Keith Bearce 7/19/1846. Sophia was born in Pembroke, MA 6/9/1828. She was the daughter of Benjamin Bearce and Sophia Peterson. Sophia died 2/8/1918 at 89 years of age. Her body was interred in Pembroke, MA, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
