Putting my baby to rest

On Christmas Eve, 1999 my father and I put a plaque remembering Jessamyn on the back of my grandfathers memorial stone. As my father put it "he was a good bloke, he'll look after her."

The plaque simply says....

Jessamyn Malcolm-Manifold
Died: 18 November 1997
Due:  22 May 1998

Although you never saw the light of day,
I carry you in my heart.
God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So picks a rosebud. He knows how much we
Need them, but he takes them to make
Heaven more beautiful to view.
    Be beautiful my darling Jessamyn,
