Maybe life feels out of control -- like circumstances are controlling your life. You are not alone. Many people feel that way.
Sometimes an emptiness is what people say they feel. Life is just not full the way it should be. Perhaps there is pain, guilt, or feelings of inadequacy. All of these feelings are common to mankind. But the Good News is you don't have to keep feeling this way.
You see, the heart of the problem is that we are separated from the ONE who loves us and gives meaning to our lives -- GOD! We became separated when we sinned against HIM.
Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD."
Sin separates us from GOD. Guess what, sin also leads to death. That's right, physical and spiritual death! Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD."
Praise GOD! HE loves you and I so much that HE provides a way for us to have an eternal life
of fellowship with HIM. That way is through JESUS CHRIST! John 3:16 expresses it this way,"For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life."
How do I get this everlasting life?, you might ask. Well I'm certainly glad you asked... :)
It is free for the asking. That's right; a gift from GOD. But the gift's not free -- it cost JESUS HIS life. You see HE paid the penalty of sin for YOU! HE died in your place!
Such love is beyond our comprehension - but it is REAL! JESUS said in John 10:10 (my personal favorite verse)
"...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
HE wants us to not only have everlasting life in heaven with HIM, but to have a full and joyous life here too! That's not to say we won't ever experience pain - but the joy HE gives will transcend all things of this world. So what do I do to get this REAL Life? Simple, pray the following...
Dear GOD,
I know that I have done things wrong and sinned against you. I am not worthy of YOUR love but I thank YOU that YOU do love me and that YOU died for me. LORD JESUS, I believe in YOU as the SON of GOD and LORD of my life. I repent of my sins and turn away from them. Please come in to my life and be my LORD and GOD.
Help me to be the Christian YOU have called me to be. Lead me in YOUR everlasting way.
I don't understand how YOU work this saving in my life, but I trust YOU that YOU will do what YOU have said. I thank YOU for my new and REAL Life!
Help me to always walk in fellowship with YOU.
In JESUS name I pray, AMEN.

Please take time to read and study your Bible daily. Pray to GOD often. Just talk to HIM
as you would your best friend -- HE is that you know! HE is concerned about those things that you are concerned about. Also join yourself with a Bible believing and practicing church in your area.
It is important to have the fellowship of other Christians to help you in your new found life!
