God Is

God, you cannot hide from us
Though Spirit as you are.
Your words and goodness reveal you
And illuminate as a star.

Your mercies and your goodness
Can't be hidden by the dark.
I see them all around me.
I feel their darting sparks.

I know you may want to stay hidden
From those who do not seek.

But Lord, your glory can't be hidden,
Even the blind can take a peek.
The brilliance of your love and mercy
Penetrates the darkest night.

Since you sent Jesus to this world,
Everyone can see your light!
