"The Epistle Of Paul To The Romans"
'O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God!
How incomprehensible are His judgments and how unsearchable His ways!
For who hath known the mind of the Lord?
Or who hath been His Counselor?
Or who hath first given unto him, and recompense shall be made Him?
For of Him, and by Him, and in Him, are all things.
To Him be Glory forever! Amen

"St. Michael's Prayer"
Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the
wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust down to hell satan,
and all the evil spirits, who roam through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
(Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Have mercy on us. - said three times.)

"An Act of Faith"
I firmly believe, O my divine Jesus, that Thou art truly present in the Blessed Sacrament
of the Altar. I believe that it really and substantially contains Thy Body and Blood, Thy soul
and divinity. I acknowledge these truths; I believe these wonders; I adore the Power that hath
wrought them, the same Power that said: "Let there be light, " and light was made. Verily, Thou
art a hidden God, the Savior. Amen

"Grant Us Peace"
Deliver us, we beseech Thee, O Lord, from all evils, past, present and to come, and by the
intercession of the Blessed and glorious Mary, ever Virgin, Mother of God, together with
Thy Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, Andrew and all the Saints, mercifully grant peace in
our days, that through the bounteous help of Thy mercy, we may be always free from sin,
and safe from all disquiet.

"Magnificat"
"My being proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit finds joy in God my Savior
For he has looked upon his servant in her lowliness:
and ages shall call me blessed.
God who is mighty has done great things for me, holy is his name;
His mercy is from age to age, on those who fear him
He has shown might with his arm;
He has confused the proud in their inmost thoughts.
He has deposed the might from their thrones and raised the lowly to high places.
The hungry he has given every good thing, while the rich he has sent empty away
He has upheld Israel his servant, ever mindful of his mercy;
Even as he promised our fathers,
Abraham and his descendants forever."
(LK: I; 46-55)

"Dearest Mother I Belong To You"
Mother at your feet is kneeling one who loves you,
is your child, who tried so oft to see you.
Bless me Mother, Bless your child.
Mother when my Jesus calls me from this world so dark,
from the wily snares of satan,
Mother, Mother Dear, Mother tell my Jesus how I love Him, fond and true,
Mother Mary, Dearest Mother, tell Him I belong to you,
tell Him I belong to you!

"Your Scapular"
should take on a deep meaning for you.
It is a rich present brought down from Heaven by Our Lady Herself.
"Wear it devoutly and perseveringly." she says to each soul, "it is my garment."
To be clothed in it means you are constantly thinking of me, and I in turn
am always thinking of you and helping you to secure eternal life.

"Prayer For Holiness"
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, Who, by the will of the Father
and the cooperation of the Holy Ghost, hast, by Thy
death, given life to the World. Deliver me from this, Thy most sacred Body
and Blood, from all my iniquities and from every evil; make me cling always to
thy commandments, and permit me never to be separated from Thee. Who with the
same God, the Father and the Holy Ghost, livest and reignest God, world without
end. Amen.

"Spiritual Accountability"
As we learn from Ezekial II: 17-21, we are held responsible on the judgement seat to
forewarn our neighbor of his evil ways -- "If I say to the wicked man, you shall
surely die, and you do not dissuade him from his wicked conduct so that he may live...
that wicked man shall die for his sin, but I will hold you responsible for his death.
If on the other hand, you have warned the wicked man, yet he has not turned away from his
evil nor from his wicked conduct, then he shall die for his sin, but you shall save
your life."
And similarly the Lord made it very clear in I Samuel II: 12-14, that Eli would suffer
retribution for failure to stop the blasphemous crimes of his sons, Hophni and Phinehas,
who sinned against the Lord --- "I will carry out in full against Eli everything I
threatened against his family and because of this crime (though he knew his sons were
blaspheming God, he did not reprove them). I am condemning his family once and for all."
Shortly thereafter during a battle in which the Philistines defeated the Israelites losing
30,000 foot soldiers and loss of the Ark, both sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain
in the conflict. When Eli, age 98 with dimmed vision, heard news of the disaster
(loss of the Ark and the death of his sons) while sitting on a chair at the city gate, he fell
backward from his chair and died of a broken neck!!
