My Favorite group is The Stanleys from Zavalla, Tx.... This group (if you have not heard them) are one of the best groups to ever sing SGM.  They are a family group that sing a variety of styles of SG music but with their own flavor.  They are not full time yet but just watch out world they are on their way.. Ginger Stanley of The Stanleys is one of my favorite singers.....What a voice and what a person.  Trish Harvill has one of the greatest ranges of any singer I have ever heard.... not to mention that trisha is the most spiritual person i have ever known--she is deflintely the person you want in your corner when it comes prayer time.  Trisha --I count it an honor to call you friend hon so move over Karen Peck and Kim Hopper here she comes.  Ken Stanley the Baritone has a great voice but you will love his humor and testimony....you would love his voice but you rarely hear him..lol...  And rounding out The Stanleys is Carolyn Downey the alto for the group.  This lady will sends chills up your spine when she sings.. All of these folks are genuine Christians who love to have a good time and it shows in concert that they do indeed know the one they sing about.  If you get a chance to see The Stanleys in concert by all means TAKE IT you will not be sorry.  To find out current concert dates click on my concert page from the home page.

Janet Paschal--wow what can you say--the woman has the voice of an angel. You know what I think love most about Janets Music--the depth of the messages in the songs--Another Soldiers Coming Home--what a gratifying tribute to her grandfather--I can identify with that--the song reminds me so much of my papaw. Her Song--Body and Blood, man if just everyone would hear that song--you would realize the true meaning of the word fellowship and Christian Love.  The song You're Still Lord--that is my testimony song--after all these years I still am not sorry, have no regrets, and am learning each day. The Song If I'd Had My Way--I have been there too--if I had it my way I would have messed it up a long long time ago. Janet is by far my favorite soloist and one of my favorite singers all time. I have grown up listening to Janet and I hope my kids have the same opportunities.  Janet spends alot of time touring with the Gaithers and if you can go--do it, but if you ever get a chance to see her by herself--take it--you will feel wonderful inside.
