A tribute to Papa
My Daddy lived in Lula Mississippi all of his life. He was a son, brother, husband, father, veteran of
World War II, City Judge, City Alderman, Railroad man, Church member, Mason, member of the
Eastern Star, Boy Scout Master for 35 years and awarded a Silver Beaver.
My Daddy is buried in the Barbee Cemetery. He said of the Barbee Cemetery, "It's the most peaceful spot on this earth. I long to take my place with my family in heaven." Rest in peace Daddy, I love you.
