"As a Mother of seven and an apprentice lay midwife I feel that home birth is the best way for a healthy mom and baby to birth. My first child was an emergency ceaserean section. My second son was an automatic repeat ceserean "because the hospital wasn't set up for a trial of labor". With my third child I decided I could not be having major surgery every year and a half, so I commuted to Denver, where a Perinatologist choose to work with me. I was considered too high risk for a VBAC locally. | |
