Hello! I'm Christa, creator of the Fruit of the Womb page. I grew up and still live in rural Indiana. I attended a very small high school from which I graduated in 1996. During my senior year, I was introduced to my husband Kenny. We met in November and were married in July. Of course everyone thought I was pregnant or something, but sorry to disappoint them I wasn't. We began classes at Indiana University - East in the Fall of 1996. He is an Accounting major, and I major in Elementary Education. Kenny will graduate in the Fall of 2001. He works nights at a warehouse besides attending classes. I should graduate in the Spring of 2000. Right now I only take two classes because we had our first child in November. Faithlan is now 3 1/2 months old (Read her birth story here). She coos and smiles and loves to look in mirrors. Of course I think she's the most gorgeous baby I've ever seen. Kenny, Faithlan, and I live in my parents basement. My mom practiced attachment parenting, and I'm so attached I just won't leave. (LOL!!!) Once Kenny graduates, we intend to build a house on the land my dad has given us. My brother and sister, both younger than I, live here also. Because there are so many people, Faithlan literally has yet to be put down by herself. She is held constantly, and she loves it. My sister is 17, and my brother is 19. They are both single. Anyone interested in meeting either of them can email me, and I'll send you an address. (LOL!) You can visit my sister's page by clicking here. So that's my family. I hope you enjoy the pictures! |
