RICHARD'S QUILTING
I have been finishing quilt tops since 1992 and have completed over 200 quilt tops.  I use the American Professional Quilt System machine.  I use 3 methods of quilting tops.

"Continuous pattern quilting" repeats a selected pattern across the quilt in rows.  This type of pattern can be used on any quilt, but is particularly appropriate for Log Cabin and other designs that don't have a definitive block.

"Individual Block quilting"  uses a four or six sided pattern sized to fill the quilt block.  This method is appropriate for a quilt such as Irish Chain or Ohio Star.  For a quilt such as Tennessee Waltz, one pattern can be used for the 54-40 block and a second pattern for the Snowball block.

"Stippling" quilting is a random meandering pattern of loops filling selected areas of the quilt such as the background fabric.
