The words to this lovely song are Here!
~A Memorial for Baby Gardner~
I dedicate this page to my son and his wife, Joe and Jill, and the baby that was lost to all of us!
A beloved baby lived inside the womb.
We rejoiced with the life - - -
our hearts are broken by this death.
Though time was short with our baby,
our love is boundless and we will never forget.
May the Angels and Saints lead this child to the place of light and peace
where one day we will be reunited.
All of us were affected by this loss...
here is a poem written by "Aunt Ashley"
Your mom held you for a moment,
But only deep inside;
She could not have been happier,
Your father knew such pride.Everything was going well,
It was only a matter of time,
Before I felt your tiny hand,
Holding tight to mine.Your mom took great care to see you safe,
She was doing her best,
But with some time we soon could see,
That something was amiss. The plans we’d made, the time we’d spend,
Would never come to be,
For when your mom next went to the doctor,
Your tiny heartbeat we could not hear nor see.The familys had been blessed we knew,
To have had this special gift,
But with your passing came a sorrow,
We just could not lift.We thought then we had been deprived,
Of your most precious light,
But still there is a glow around us,
Every single night. Our precious angel you must be,
To keep us oh so safe,
To help your mother and father,
Uphold their dying faith. The Lord must have sent you for a reason,
But for another He took you back,
It’s said He works in mysterious ways,
I have to say I agree with that. You came here to your parents,
And left them oh so fast,
But I think you gave them hope for the future,
And a happiness for their past.Time has a way of healing wounds,
A lot of people say,
But no matter who might come to be,
They will never take your memory away. There may be other gifts later,
For your mom and dad to love,
But they will know their most precious gift,
Is with our Lord, God above. To Our Little Angel.
From your Aunt Ashley
We will miss you......
Now, my tribute... You will forever be my first Grandchild,
And someday I will hold you, in Heaven!
