RUBY RED STAR  is out of Crystal bred to Tinus from Proud Meadows producing a first generation foal.  Ruby was born 4-18-03.  “Ruby” is Crystal’s seventh foal, not only has a star, but a chestnut! She was received with dismay the first day as she was not black - and that is as long as it lasted.  I don’t care if a person had their heart set in stone for the color black… Ruby has proved she has the confirmation and personality to absolutely steal your heart away.   She has a lot of substance, stoutly built and very sweet. She is priced extremely reasonable considering the impressive accomplishments of her Sire.

 Dam- Pecatonica Black Crystal     Sire- Tinus  Tinus is a 1990 black 16.2 Friesian Stallion from Proud Meadows - Cedar Hill, Texas    Tinus's Sire is Jillis, his Dam is Carilien        Tinus is the first Friesian ever to capture a USDF Horse of the Year championship title (at second level, in 1999) has done it again in 2000 at Third level.  The stallion also was ninth in the nation at Fourth Level, with a median score of 67.17 percent.
