MIKASA is a purebred Moriesian and is 16 hands - 1,100#.

The breed originates from a purebred Friesian and purebred Morgan.

MIKASA was sired by the well known Friesian Stallion, NERO and out of a BRADY'S BLACK LABEL - Morgan mare.     

Mikasa is registered as Elite status (based on performance) with the Moriesian Registry. 

Mikasa is also registered Friesian Sport Horse Registry, American Warmblood Registry of which his foals of any breed are eligible for registry.  

The American Warmblood Society is the only American breed association that registers horses involved in those sports sponsored by the United States Equestrian Team: DRESSAGE, SHOW JUMPING, COMBINED TRAINING AND COMBINED  DRIVING.  They are the only American breed Association actively involved in local, regional, and national awards.  The goal of the society is to honor the diversity of all breeds, treat all breeds with dignity and respect, promote and reward the top performing and breeding sport horses.  The incentive for mare owners in this registry is the promise that a successful Warmblood breeding program in America will put us on equal footing with the older established European Warmblood organizations.

MIKASA   offers  mare owners  two  options:

Because of the Morgan blood, breed MIKASA  to a mare with size and substance to pass along refinement without the coarseness that you could get if you bred to a large breed.  MIKASA has enhanced delicate breeds by adding size and substance from the Friesian blood while keeping the strong hindquarter & refined head.  Mikasa has stood to a variety of breeds: Morgans, Arabians,AQHA, Saddlebred, Pinto, Anglo-Arab and Thoroughbreds.  We offer Moriesians & quality Warmblood Sporthorses for sale.
