                what we believe are two separate branches of our family.
                We are hoping to trace both branches back far enough
                to find the connection.
                We have reason to believe that our name was originally spelled
                Stiljes.
                On this page you will find information about the descendants of
                Frederick George Stilges,
                known to be the son of Frederick Stilges.
                We believe that Frederick Sr. came to Ireland from Germany
                to work on the telegraph system.
                Frederick & Minnie's marriage certificate lists his father as a
                Telegraph Mechanic.
                We have also gathered information about
                the descendants of Alfred Joseph Stilges
