Worth, Texas., delivered by Dr. Pumphrey, Sr.  Went through Volunteers of America Agency, which is closed down now, but I don't remember the name of the unwed Mother's home.  At birth you weighed 6lbs 1oz and you were having a breathing problem. We were both suppose to go back to the unwed mother's home after 1 day at the hospital, because the home was set up for our recuperation period. I was sent back to the home after the one day, while they kept you at the hospital because of your breathing problem. I never even got to see you, I was too concerned with your breathing problem,  I didn't want you moved around and I wasn't allowed to go to you. The agency or the home, never sent me the letter they were supposed to send on whether you lived or not and if you survived when you were adopted.  I've registered at the Texas Registry and they said you haven't registered with them yet, but that you did survive your birth!!!  I've registered and searched at many places, but to no avail.  I was 18years old, unemployed, still living with my parents and going to high school.  Your father, Billie Clemmons,  refused to marry me, so I thought you would have a better life is why I gave you up.  You have a half sister born 10-24-73, and a large loving family here that loves you very much and has worried over the years about you and recognizes your birthday each year.
