The Her in Grandmother |
When children are growing up they seem to think their
mother loves one more than another. Their minds are too young to grasp the
fact that all mothers love is complete for each of her children, not split
into fragments and divided between the lot of them. In true fact each
child's arrival makes a mother's heart grow larger with a new love that is
equal to the first.
A grandmother's love is an extension of that same type of love. A special
and very complete love, like a mother, her heart grows bigger with each
child born, and the baby is a part of her family just as if she had
attended the birth.
I have three grand daughters and one grandson. I am enjoying my
"Grandmother" status and find it is a relaxed and comforting kind of love.
