This is Joe Newton's genealogy page.  To a large extent it consists of the pedigrees of my great-grandparents of Colquitt County, Georgia, George Fennel Newton and his wife, Julia Ann Elvina Norman Newton.  She was born in Norman Park, GA and he in North Carolina in the1840's.  They lived near Norman Park, GA from the time of their marriage in 1865, after he returned from the War Between the States, until their deaths (George,1922 and Julia,1918).
