Hi, welcome to the website of First Free Will Baptist Church of Deerfield Beach, Florida. We appreciate you "dropping in" and hope you return often.
Our purpose is to present the "whole counsel of God" as we share with the lost that Christ ALONE (John 14:6; Acts 4:12) through His finished work on the cross and rising again (Romans 10:9) is what saves those who believe and trust in HIM. To proclaim that while "works" never has and never will save a person, or keep them saved, the person who is truly born again and saved, WILL PRODUCE GOOD WORKS (II Cor. 5:17, Eph. 2:10). While that God is indeed a loving God, such love never has and never will compromise or overshadow His Holiness. That as we proclaim the gospel and witness, a person has to realize that they are lost and sinful (Romans 3:10,23) before they can "realize" their need for the Savior and be truly saved, which can only happen when the Father draws them (John 6:44).
We hope that you will make use of this site for God's honor and glory. Feel free to use the "Discussion Room" to chat about biblical issues within the realm of the "fundamentals of the faith." Plus, there are the "link to other sites" that, while few, are some of my favorites. If you are ever in the Miami-West Palm Beach metro area of South Florida, please stop in for a visit.
