If you were to die right now, and found yourself standing before God,
and He asked you "Why should I let you into My heaven?" What would be your answer?
Would you say "Well, I've always been a good person, I've always tried to help others,
I've gone to church all my life, I've always tried to do the right thing, so you should let me in."
If this is your answer, than that's not good enough. I'm afraid God won't let you
into his heaven!

You know, God loves us and has a purpose for our lives.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)

God's purpose for us is to have ETERNAL life.
Romans 6:23 says we recieve eternal life as a free gift.
John 10:10, we can live a full and meaningful life right now.
John 14:3 says we will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven.
p We are all sinners by nature and by choice. This keeps us from fulfilling
God's purpose for our lives.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)
We cannot save ourselves (Ephesians 2:9)
Romans 6:23 says we deserve death and hell.
God is holy and just and must punish sin
just as we punish our children for doing wrong.
But God loves us, and he provides forgiveness for our sin.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6)
Jesus was born of a virgin, Matthew 1:18-25
John 1:1,14 says that Jesus is God and became man,
Jesus died for us on the cross(1 Peter3:18) and was resurrected
from the dead.(Romans 4:25)

Jesus died on a cross for our sins. He loved us so much that he gave his life for us.
Eternal life is a FREE gift from Jesus Christ.
All we have to do is take that gift and receive Him. "But as many as received him,
to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12)We must repent of our sin, really repent,
not just be sorry for
the things we have done. We must place our faith in him
"For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and not that of yourselves: it is a gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8)

Would you like to receive him now? If so pray this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus...I believe You are the Son of God...and died to forgive me of my sins...I know I have sinned...I ask You to forgive me...I turn from my sins and I receive You as my Lord and Savior...thank You for saving me. Amen
