Cahill Genealogy
My Cahill side of my family goes from my 5th Great-Granfather down to my Great-Great-Grandfather. This information came from my Grandmother and some of her brothers and sisters. Now to my Cahill line.
John Cahill was born about 1770 in Virginia. He married Eleanor Butts on August 16, 1795 in Culpepper County, Virginia. He died in 1812 in Mason County, Kentucky. He served in the War of 1812. Eleanor was born on October 18, 1773 in Virginia. She died on July 18, 1856 in Washington, Franklin Co., Missouri. John and Eleanor had the following children:
1. Perry Cahill - born in 1796 in Virginia. Married Rebecca Rice.

3. Alexander Cahill - born in 1800 in Virginia.
4. Elizabeth Cahill - born in 1803 in Virginia. She married Carvel Fitzgerald.
5. Thomas Cahill - born in 1805 in Mason County, Kentucky.
6. Ellen Cahill - born on September 08, 1807 in Mason County, Kentucky. She married Elijah B. Wilson. She died on July 21, 1894 in Franklin County, Missouri.
7. Anna Cahill - born on February 25, 1809 in Mason County, Kentucky. She married Fielding Sappington. She died on December 26, 1885 in Washington, Franklin Co., Missouri.
8. John Jr. Cahill - born in 1812 in Mason County, Kentucky. He married Rachel Price.
Samuel Cahill was born on October 26, 1798 in Virginia. He married Arminta Fitzgerald on April 22, 1822 in Frankin County, Missouri. Samuel died on July 08, 1877 in Franklin County, Missouri. Arminta was born on August 09, 1803 in Mason County, Kentucky. She died on October 29, 1853 in Franklin County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Thomas Fitzgerald and Charity Eckley. Samuel and Arminta had the following children.
1. William Cahill - born on August 18, 1819 in Franklin Co., Missouri.
2. John Alexander Cahill - born on March 02, 1823 in Franklin Co., Missouri. He married Malinda Smith.
3. Carvel Washington Cahill - born on August 08, 1825 in Franklin Co., Missouri. He married Malinda Smith Cahill.
4. Ellen Cahill - born on September 20, 1827 in Franklin Co., Missouri.
5. Walter Warden Cahill - born on February 19, 1830 in Franklin Co, Missouri.
6. Tabitha Arminta Cahill - born on February 22, 1833 in Franklin Co., Missouri.
7. Samuel Jr. Cahill - born on April 06, 1835 in Franklin Co., Missouri. He married Sarah J Phillips. He died on November 18, 1909 in Franklin Co., Missouri.
8. Fatammia Elizabeth Cahill - born on November 14, 1837 in Franklin Co., Missouri. She married Jesse Fitzgerald. She died on April 30, 1916 in Franklin Co., Missouri.

10. Harriet Frances Cahill - born on October 06, 1842 in Franklin Co., Missouri. She married Thomas Jefferson Smith. She died on February 24, 1916 in Gasconade County, Missouri.
11. Joseph Edward Cahill - born on November 25, 1846 in Franklin Co., Missouri. He married Malinda Ellen Smith on February 18, 1868. He died on April 13, 1929 in Gasconade County, Missouri.
Squire Newton Cahill was born on August 05, 1840 in St. John Township, Franklin Co, Missouri. She married Mary Amanda Phelps on July 11, 1865 in Rosebud, Gasconade Co., Missouri. He died on October 03, 1918 in Rosebud, Gasconade Co., Missouri. Mary was born on May 04, 1843 in St. Louis County, Missouri. She died on August 06, 1881 in Rosebud, Gasconade Co., Missouri. Squire and Mary had the following children.
1. Talitha Arminta Cahill.
2. Lucilla Geneva Cahill - born about 1870 in Gasconade Co., Missouri. She married Nimrod Elliot McIntosh in 1890 in Gasconade Co., Missouri.
3. Cassandra Zenobia Cahill - born about 1875 in Gasconade Co., Missouri.
4. Frances Estella Cahill - born about 1800 in Gasconade Co., Missouri.

Theathus V. Cahill was born on February 22, 1867 in Campbellton, Missouri. He married Ida Pearl Adams on December 27, 1907 in Union, Franklin Co., Missouri. He died on October 16, 1944 in St. Louis County, Missouri. Ida was born on July 13, 1888 in Rosebud, Gasconade Co., Missouri. She died on October 24, 1924 in Rosebud, Gasconade Co., Missouri due to injuries to her head when she was thrown from her runway wagon.
