Hobart Genealogy
This page contains information on my Hobart line which started with Edmund Hobart and going down to Heman Lee Hobart. The information I have here came from my grandmother, her last name use to be Hobart before she got married. Other information came from other people with the same line and some information came from books that I found to be very helpful from the library here in St. Louis. One of the books was about the history of Hingham, Ma. It contained a lot of information on Edmund Hobart and his family, also I bought a book about Edmund Hobart and his descendants. Now to my Hobart line.
Edmund Hobart was born on January 01, 1572/73 in Hingham, England. He married Margaret Dewey on September 07, 1600 in Hingham, England. He he died on March 08, 1645/46 in Hingham, Mass. Margaret was born about 1574 in Wymondham, England. She died on September 16, 1632 in Charleston, Mass. Edmund and Margaret had the following children:
1. Nazareth Hobart - was born on June 07, 1601 in Wymondham, England. She married Robert Turner on November 09, 1626. She died on September 23, 1658 in Hingham, Mass. Nazareth married a second time. She married John Beals in July of 1628 in Hingham, England.
2. Sarah Hobart - was born December 26, 1617 in Hingham, England. She died on July 28, 1682.
3. Edmund Hobart - was born on October 13, 1606 in Hingham, England. He married Elizabeth Elmes on October 13, 1632 in Hingham, England. He died on February 16, 1684/85 in Hingham, Mass.

5. Thomas Hobart - was born on June 23, 1605/06 in Hingham, England. He married Anne Ptomer on June 02, 1629 in Wymondham, England. He died on August 18, 1689 in Hingham, Mass.
6. Alice Hobart - was born on March 22, 1606/07 in Hingham, England. She married Thomas Chubbuck on February 28, 1631/32 in Hardingham, England. He died on February 20, 1674/75 in Hingham, Mass.

8. Anthony Hobart - was born on October 08, 1609 in Hingham, England. He died on December 22, 1609 in Hingham, England.
9. Edward Hobart - was born on November 04, 1610 in Hingham, England. He died on November 18, 1610 in Hingham, England.
10. Rebecca Hobart - was born on December 29, 1611 in Hingham, England. She married Edward Bangs in 1635. She died before 1679.

12. Elizabeth Hobart - was born in 1613 in Hingham, England. She died in 1655 in Hingham, England.
13. Joshua Hobart - was born on October 09,1614 in Hingham, England. He married Ellen Ibrook on march 14, 1637/38 in Cambridge, Mass. He died on July 28, 1682 in Hingham, Mass.

3. Elizabeth Hobart - was born on April 19, 1632 Hingham, England. She married John Ripley. She died on March 26, 1692 in Hingham, Mass.
4. Josiah Hobart - was born in1634 in Southwold, England. He married Mary. He died in February of 1710/11 in East Hampton, Long Island.
5. Ichabod Hobart - was born on October 03, 1635 in Charlestown, Mass. He died in July of 1636 in Hingham, Mass.
6. Hannah Hobart - was born on April 30, 1637 in Hingham, Mass. She died on May 19, 1637 in Hingham, Mass.

After his first wife passed away the Rev. Peter Hobart married again. He married on July 03, 1646 Rebecca Ibrook (peck?) in Hingham, Mass. They had the following children:

2. Nehemiah Hobart - was born before November 20, 1648 in Hingham, Ma. She died on August 25, 1712 in Newton, Mass.
3. David Hobart - was born on August 07, 1651 in Hingham, Ma. He died on August 21, 1717 in Hingham, Mass.
4. Rebecca Hobart - was born on April 09, 1654 in Hingham, Ma. She died on April 08, 1727 in Stonington, CT.
5. Abigail Hobart - was born on October 19, 1656 in Hingham, Ma. She died on april 12, 1683 in Hingham, Mass.

Noah Hobart was born on December 30, 1780 in Hebron, New Hampshire, He married Abigail Hazelton on February 22, 1809 in Vermont. He died on April 18, 1853 in Granville, Ohio. Abigail was born on May 06, 1789 in Vermont. She died on February 26, 1867 in Granville, Ohio. Noah and Abigail had the following children:
