Hi I left my backpack by accident in the lockers around the fire pit at the Tilden Camporee. (actually it was my sons) When I went to get it it was gone. Does any group from this trip have a green backpack ,that they arnt sure whose it is. It had a roll of developed film in it that I would like to get back. Hey, cool site. The daisy paper is by Geopaper, I bought it for use last year with my daisy troop. We made picture frames, and used it for the mattes. I bought it at Walmart, comes about 25 sheets to the pack.

Good morning. I am a former Girl Scout Leader in Lafayette and came across your website. We run absolutely WONDERFUL field trips for school children here and enjoy having girl scout troops come for afternoon field trips as well. However, we have troops come mostly by word of mouth and I thought you might be able to tell us where we could send information fliers which could then be passed out to all leaders of kindergarden through second grade troops in Walnut Creek. Great website. Have been searching for a copy of a Friendship Salad Ceremony that I received in training 5 years ago with Ann Watrous et al. I'm the Older Girl Coordinator for Pleasant Hill Association and just got a call from a Gentleman from West Point -- Cadets from the Air Force Academy and West Point (home for Thanksgiving) will be at Dibalo View Middle School in Clayton at 7:45 next Tuesday night to talk to Boy and Girl Scouts (Middle/High Schoolers). He said over half of their entering cadets are ex-scouts. One of the 2 from West Point is a young lady. Scouts and parents are welcome. He was looking to reach the Concord/Clayton area Girl Scouts, and somehow got my number. I thought I'd pass on the info in case someone in your association could get the word ut to your older girl leaders.

Are any of you synchronized swimmers? My daughter Meghan is joining the WC Aquanuts this season. She is a freshman at Cal. My daughter Katy, also a synchro swimmer, is a Junior Girl Scout at home in Indianapolis. Indy Synchro does a special water show just for Girl Scouts every year. Many of the girls on the team are also Girl Scouts, representing several different troops. We show the Scouts the costumes we make for sychro and the gel the swimmers put in their hair and teach them about scoring, stret hing and land drills. We made up a special patch for the Girl Scouts who come to the show, and another patch for Scouts who come to our beginning synchro clinic, when they get to try synchro in the water. I am looking forward to seeing the WC Aquanuts' atershow in October.
