Welcome to April's page! I'm the "middle child" of the Stodden family. (What that tells about me, I am afraid to think!) I married Mike on August 25, 1990. We have 4 children--Alycia, Katrina, Mikey, and Gregory. But that will soon change. :-)

April--What can I say??? I'm married to a great guy and have beautiful kids! They keep me on my toes; there is never a dull moment around here! In my spare time (yeah, right! WHAT spare time???)I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, emailing, surfing "the net", crocheting, and playing piano (at home and at church). I like roses (in fact, Rose is Alycia's middle name) so I tend to collect things with pretty roses on them. St. Rose of Lima is my patron saint.

Daddy and GreggyMike--When I first designed this webpage Mike was the manager of Don's Food Pride, but about a year after buying that store, "Don's" decided to sell it. This left us in quite a quandry! What should we do?? Well, we looked at all our options, did a bit of figuring, and ended up moving back to our hometown. In fact, we bought some land from Mom and Dad and built a new house! I will have to add pictures of our house later, but for now, let's just say that we are enjoying being back in our hometown and sharing with our kids the joys of country living! Mike was hired as Assistant Manager at the local SuperValu (where he also had his first job, about 15 years ago!) It keeps Mike plenty busy. But let's not worry about that--the football season has begun, so Mike will be trying to get a chance to watch some Minnesota Vikings games. GO VIKES!

Alycia-- Alycia is now 11! She still loves to read, so we are taking advantage of that in our homeschool. Oh, did I forget to mention that? Yeah, we are in our 4th year of homeschooling. This year is new to us since we are using Sonlight curriculum, a history/literature-based curriculum. So far our entire family is really enjoying it! Back to Alycia... did I mention she LOVES to read?! She especially enjoys the "American Girl" series, but currently is devouring meatier books like the "Royal Diaries" series and "Dear America" series. Alycia's favorite color is red and she loves to have friends over!

Katrina the FlowergirlKatrina--Katrina turned 9 in September. I can't believe how fast these kids are growing up! Katrina is enjoying reading also. She has just started to read the "American Girls" books herself. It is fun to hear Alycia and Katrina have discussions about their favorite "American Girl." Katrina LOVES living on a farm! We are raising chickens, and she has taken it as her own special duty to collect eggs each day. We are up to a dozen a day! I will have to post some pictures of our chickens. They are pretty funny sometimes!

Katrina was the flowergirl in Steve and Stephanie's wedding when she was 4. Her dress was an exact miniature of Stephanie's. Katrina's nicknames are "Peanut" and "Trina".

MIKEY Mikey--Mikey will celebrate his 8th birthday in January. He's BOY through and through. If it has wheels, makes noise, or comes apart, it will capture Mikey's interest! Playing outside is one of his favorite things to do. Mikey also LOVES living on a farm. Last summer every morning he would ask if he could call Grandpa. He would press the speed-dial and when Grandpa answered would say, "Hi Grandpa! Are you doin' any farmin' today?" Then he would usually be off to Grandpa's to help with the "farmin'." Mikey's favorite toys are his Lego "Bionicle" sets. He can make some amazing (and scary!) creations. Mikey also enjoy's his uncle Steve's favorite sport--NASCAR! When we wallpaper the boys' bedroom, it will most likely be NASCAR. Mikey was Steve's ringbearer. He looked so cute in his little tux! Too bad he didn't walk nicely down the aisle. :-)

Gregory--Ahhhh, the baby! BUT NOT FOR LONG! Gregory celebrated his fourth birthday last January. He is interested in almost everything Mikey is! He shares a bedroom with Mikey, and it is definitely all boy stuff in there! On the walls Bionicle and NASCAR posters abound! Gregory is enjoying "preschool" in our homeschool. He is learning how to write his name, which is pretty exciting.

??????? And who could this be??? The newest addition to our happy family to due to make his/her grand debut in the end of April 2003. We'll keep you posted! We're excited and hope you are, too!!!
