This is in answer to your e-mail to the Howard-L dated July 10th. I comes from John the son of alexander. Would love to share what I have with you. You probably can fill in some holes for me and I do have lots on the John line. John is buried in the Ho ard Cemetery, Simpsonville, SC. Simpsonville use to be called Plains. I was quoting from a book about the upper and lower Greenville Co. There is also another John howard that was from Edgefield Co., he moved to GA and then some of his ancestors went to iss. i think. This line is not connected to the Alesander & John line. I have some limited info on them that I came across when searching for my Howards. Hi, the Tarwaters were cousins to my GGGF, John Leonard Weeks. They fought in the Civil War together in the same unit (16th Alabama Infantry).
