Inspirational Messages in Poetry

About the Author...

Connie Campbell Bratcher was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and reared in East Point, a suburb of Atlanta. She is the author of the children's prayer poem, "Thank You for the World So Sweet", which she penned as a child.  Years later, she discovered it had become famous and was being used in schools and day care centers throughout the nation.  Humbled that this simple poem had become a blessing to so many children, Connie was inspired to begin writing again in 1970.  Her inspirational messages in poetry have appeared in several anthology books including the renowned Sparrowgrass publication.  In 1996, she received The Editor's Choice Award for her work published in "Frost at Midnight".  Today, Connie continues to pen messages in poetry which she believes are divinely inspired.  It is her earnest prayer that these messages will truly be an inspiration and a blessing to the hearts of her readers worldwide.
