All Saints' Church has an active Youth Program, encompassing all ages, from pre-school to High School. Many of our Sunday School teachers are educators outside the Church, and bring that wealth of learning to our Sunday School classroom.

parade.gif is our theme for this years Sunday School program. It involves the children in a project that encompasses the town of Wheatland, and gives them a way to show they care in their community.

With the help of various businesses in town, and monetary donations from parish members, the children spend the last Sunday of each month, filling bags with crayons, coloring pages, stickers and a small toy. These bags are then distributed throughout the town to the hospital, dentist's offices, restaurants, anywhere where a child might have a long or sometimes stress-filled wait.

Their hope is that these bags will make a young child's wait more enjoyable, and ease the stress on often frazzled parents. We feel you are never too young to learn the importance of helping others and serving the community.

But Sunday School is not all work and no play for these youngsters. There is always time, while learning more about the Lord and what our place is in His Kingdom for FUN!

dance.jpg children performed a special "Hoe Down" dance for Fr. Cliff on the night of his Ordination. The dance was kept Top Secret from all but the parents of the childred involved, and after an afternoon of practice, the show came off without a "hitch". Just one more example of the imagination of our Sunday School teachers.

hall.jpg are a special time for the children, and All Saint's is right in there with them, enjoying whatever the holiday has to offer. Here we had a Halloween Party for the kids as an alternative to Trick-or-Treating. There were games and treats, and a little bit of learning tossed in for good measure. From the smiles on their faces, its safe to say, a good time was had by all.

box.jpg wanting to be left out of the fun, Fr. Cliff always involves the children in the Church service with the use of "The Box". The box is a wooden box that goes home with one child each Sunday. During the week, the child chooses something to put in the box, but he cannot tell anyone what he's put inside.

On the following Sunday, he returns with the surprise, and Fr. Cliff calls all the children to the front of the Church, opens the box, and then relates whatever is inside to something about God, Jesus, or the Church. (And I'll tell you something....every one of those kids has been trying to come up with something that will stump him for over a year...and no one's succeeded yet!)

Fun, learning, and Kids Helping Kids, that's what its all about here at All Saints'!

This just in!
On October 24th, the Sunday School at All Saints' participated in "Make a Difference Day", a day designated by Kodak and USA Weekend as a day for everyone across the country to do what they could to make a difference.
Our kids spent the morning making up about 250 bags, and the afternoon distributing them around town as their way of making a difference. The Kodak corporation has designed an online "quilt", showing pictures from all the projects, and its growing every day. Click below to go to the Kodak website, and use their search to find "Kids Caring for Kids".
