Activity Briefing
Pack meetings will be held the first Monday night of each
month unless otherwise indicated at Midway Heights Elementary School from
6:30 - 7:30 pm. If the Monday is a holiday or Monday school was let
out due to inclement weather, the Pack meeting will be held the following
Monday. Pack Meetings are family affairs and all family members are
invited to share in the fun and applaud the advancements awarded to the
scouts!
Individual Den meetings
are generally scheduled for each
Monday night at Midway Heights Elementary School. However, individual
Den Leaders may hold meetings at places other than the school and may change
the time. For such changes in scheduling, the Den Leader is
responsible for notifying the scouts involved, the scouts' parents and Pack
Committee Members.
Parents are requested to enter the school and pick
up their boys and not wait in the parking lot for them. It will be
dark when meetings close during most of the school year and we are as
concerned for the safety of you son as you are.
Roundtable meetings are held the second Tuesday of
each month 7-9pm at the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 914 West Boulevard
South. These meetings bring leaders and parents together from all the
Packs in our district to share ideas and help each other prepare for the
monthly themes and activities involving the scouts. Parents are
welcome to attend any of these meetings. Please talk to Den Leaders or
any of the Pack leadership about them. They are also great
introductions to avenues for more parent participation in the scouting
program.
Pack Committee meetings are scheduled for the last Tuesday of each month 6:30-8:00 pm at the Locust Grove Methodist Church. These meetings are used to keep all the Pack leaders and interested parents updated on the Pack status and upcoming activities and to be sure all proper plans and schedules are in place.
