The Shelburne Museum is a museum village with restored period Vermont houses. Each house has a collection of art and antiques. The historic Lake Champlain Steamship 'Ticonderoga' was restored and added to the museum's 'buildings' last year.
Finding the bones of a marine whale in the fields of rural Vermont is an intriguing dilemma that poses many questions. The University of Vermont created a great interactive website about 'Charlotte the Vermont Whale'. Definitely worth a visit!
