- John Sturdivant, Jr. was a member of Marty Stuart's Hot Hillbilly Band from 1990-1993 as their drummer. While in this band
he played on Marty's gold selling
album "This One's Gonna
Hurt You" and Marty's 1987 project for CBS titled "Let There Be Country." John performed on several Marty Stuart videos
including: "Mirrors
Don't Lie," "Tempted," "Now That's Country," "Hey Baby," and "This One's Gonna Hurt You."
- Since 1987 John
Sturdivant, Jr. has been the Studio Manager,
Producer and
Engineer for
the Junction Recording Studio. He is responsible for studio maintenance
and installation of 24 track Studer tape machine with 32 channel mixing console and
outboard gear. The studio specializes
in master demos and custom albums.
