Flying Jewels
This photos were shot by Mrs. Boyd from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She is the mother of my colleague Charles. She send me these wonderful photos of the Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds which build this very small nest in one of the backyard trees.
Isn't it a kind of art to build such a filigree nest only by using lyches, spiderwebs and their own beaks? Mother Nature at it's best, just enjoy!!
