This page will show some vacation shots but mostly some pictures of a mission trip Mike went on in December 1998. Hurricane Mitch devastated the land of Nicaragua. Here are just a few pictures of what we saw.
This is an active volcano near Somatillo, Nicaragua. Luckily
it decided not to erupt on this day!
This is some makeshift shelters that some people made. There were about
200 families in this small area.
The flood waters were so huge and fast that they uprooted this tree and carried it
downstream and placed it on top of a bridge. The tree was wider in diameter than
a six foot man.
