Thanks for sharing your story. My mom's had the same type of cancer as you, and she did without the chemo at her surgery 3 years ago. No she's looking at another surgery and is considering chemo to go along with it. It's good to hear about someone's experience with it. God bless you.

Hello neighbor, Don't know where Floral is located, but we are in Magnolia (on the La. border). My husband has colon & lung cancer & is taking 5fu. He has had it weekly for 14 months. The doctors at the VA gave him 6 months when they first found cancer, he was in stag IV. Anyway now it is stabilized & he has strong faith & tells everyone he is healed. THAT'S HIS FINAL ANSWER. Your web site is beautiful. I love pink!!!!!! I'm doing well. I just finished my second series of 6 weeks of chemo. I felt rather draggy yesterday, but did laundry & rested. I'm learning to put all aside and rest when I'm tired. I told my minister th s a.m. that my Dr. had told me that my chemo was to help cleanse my cells of any malignancy if any. I also feel that it is cleansing my sole....it is such a humbling experience for me as I see so many patients who are so ill, and I'm not! I praise God f r the peace and comfort that he has afforded me and for all my friends who love and pray for me. Hope you are doing well, also. Betty

It's really encouraged me. My mom also got this rare appendix cancer, I do not know how to help, now, at least I can tell her your story. Can you tell me what is 5 FU, did this chemotherapy help you, any bad effect by using that? How much it cost? hope it can be affordable by me. Hi,I'm looking for a Riddle who married into my Smith line in Newton Co. AR. Since Riddle & Reddel gets a bit confusing, perhaps you might help me. It would be my first lead if you can. My Peggy SMITH was born abt 1868-1877 in Newton Co. AR. She marri d a RIDDLE man and was living near Ft. Smith in 1943. Hello! Thank you for your wonderful website. How are you now? I noticed you have a link to Dr. Paul Sugarbaker, did he treat you or did he assist your doctors in your treatment? My husband was diagnosed with pseudomyxoma peritonei in Oct. '99. We are searching for treatment options since the doctors here are clueless. We also have been to Mayo and they were not what we were looking for. They were professional, thorough, a d courteous, but we are looking for a cure. Found your site on the Arkansas web ring page. I live in Camden presently and will be moving to Magnolia in a few weeks. My husband is taking 5 fu and had his 30th week treatment today. We go to Little Rock VA for his treatments. He is on indefinite pla and has had no side effects at all. We were told that he was in stage IV in Feb. Visit my web page and read a little about us. We praise God for his goodness.
