My name is Desiree. I'ma born and raised Alaskan. I grew up in the small town of less then 3,000 people. Its located about 60 miles north of Anchorage. I graduated from Houston High school in May of 2000. I can't believe its been 5 years already. While in High school I went to Orlando, Florida for a cheerleading competition and my sophomore year I went to Spain I also was lucky enough to be able to travel to California when I was 16. It was a short trip, only 5 days, but I was able to visit relatives I had never met and see San Francisco for the first time. It was such a neat experience. The summer after that I went to Michigan for three weeks to visit my sister April. While I was there I spent my days chasing after her three kids under the age of 6, basking in the actual sunshine and heat that they get, and a short trip to the German town of Frankemuth.

After high school I moved to Wasilla and lived there till 2002 when I moved to Washington. I really love being in Washington and hope to stay here for awhile longer. I am finishing my last year of grad school and graduate in 2009 with my Master in Teacher degree. I finally will be starting my career. :)

That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are,but, we are responsible for who we become. I Believe... Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. I Believe... That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
