Joseph Parker was living in Campbell County, Kentucky when he married Elizabeth (Eliza) WARRINGTON (listed in KY records: Eliza MANINGTON[WARRINGTON?]) 12-27-1835. The KY records state, "m by JV, b William Parker, brother-in-law who swore Eliza "has resided with him 4 or five years," her father is dead and her mother now resides in Wheeling, WVA". So, Eliza had a sister who also married a Parker. The 1850 Census of Campbell County, Northern Kentucky, Part II., Schedule 109 lists Joseph, 35; Eliza, 25; Sarah J., 12; Elizabeth, 10; James, 8; Robert, 6; and John K., 65 (whom we assume is Joseph's father).

Some of our information comes by a Parker/Warrington Family bible, we aren't sure who wrote the information down in it, but from it we know her surname was actually Warrington. Eliza's family came from PA. Joseph and family moved to Pike Co, Il after 1850 census in KY and in 1861 Joseph was killed by a falling tree while cutting timber, he is buried _____, IL. Eliza never remarried, after 1880 moved to Atwood, Kansas and then to homestead land nearby. Her brother-in-law, George Halstead, signed her homestead paperwork in 1885 stating that she'd lived in KS so we think she took her family there to follow family. At this time her sister, Amanda was living in Grand Island, NE. By 1903, according to Robert Parker's obit, they move to Council Bluffs, IA (Elizabeth, son Robert and daughter, Margaret) where they are all buried.
