It is hard to believe it has been 5 years today ~ 2/28/99,
since Mary Helen entered into eternal rest.

She was diagnosed with cancer 11/2/93. The cancer type was rare and no
hope of treatment or cure was offered. We thank God for his mercy ~ that she did not
suffer much before she left us. She lasted 2 days short of 4 months. Her last 3 weeks was
spent medicated to keep her out of pain. Losing her was hard, but we were more at
peace to have her leave us physically, than to have her remain and suffer pain.
I say leave us physically, because she lives on in our hearts and our memories,
until we are all together again.
