McCurdy's King of Blues NOT FOR SALE 4 year old gray 16H gelding, made his debut trailride with 125 other mounts at the McCurdy Assoc. Spring Trailride April 4th, 2009. The ride was a success with some challenging objectives due to the recent heavy rains. King completed the course and did well under the pressure. King will continue his education with professional trainer Winston Way of WW Farm/Majestic Stables, outside of Birmingham, Alabama to develop a solid handle and become an all around using horse. Winston is a multi-discipline trainer w/ expertise in gaited horses for trail, pleasure, field trials, reining, cattle work, and hunting. |

Sire and dam from Alabama. 14.3H, 10 weeks under saddle w/ natural horsemanship professional trainer Ray Weathered. Trace is an athletic horse, long and loose strided, sure footed, and bold on trails, with dogs. Is Not pacey. Strong black hooves, never been shod. As a mature 4 year old Trace is progressing very quickly and will be an excellent trail/pleasure/ field trial mount for an experienced rider who can take him forward as a partner.
