"Vart"
(His picture is shown on my Home Page)
FROM HOLLAND HE CAME
Vart was the turning point in my kennel
and breeding program. His enthusiasm and love of life persuaded me to change my
bloodlines. His is the cornerstone of my breeding program today. His progeny are also
foundation stock to many kennels in Canada, Mexico, South Africa and the U.S.
He was imported from Holland, sight
unseen, when he was 21 months old. It is almost impossible to obtain grown dogs from
Europe. I was fortunate enough to get Vart for little did I know the impact he would put
into the breed, and my own breeding program.
He finished his American Championship
in 5 shows in 2 weekends with 3 majors and 3 BOB's.

"Imp"
Imp is an inbred son of Ward, my imported
foundation sire. Imp was also Ward's last son. He was a great producer of pretty bitches
that had his head and lovely almond eye. He finished his Championship at 11 months
of age. He was defeated only once, and that was by another Ward son. Imp went Reserve to
him. People talk about "soul mates" in dogs...I guess Imp was mine as I miss him
the most.
