This stained threadrack is just to show how our rack looks after you stain it. We sell our racks unstained as in the second picture.A dear friend purchased one of our racks and sent me this pic of how it looked after she'd finished staining it. .

Rotating Thread Rack

Size 8" x 18"

This rotating thread rack takes up only 8 inches of desk area and holds 96 spools of embroidery thread (Sulky or Madeira). If you use the larger spools of commercial embroidery thread, we make a version that holds 48 of the larger sized spools. Our super sized version holds 40 of the 5000 or 7500 meter sized spools. Rack is made of unfinished #1 white pine with routed edges. Spindles are not the skimpy sized ones so they won't break off. Rack has a hinged side providing extra storage space inside for those tall bobbin spools. Rack is sturdily built and won't tip if your spools are unbalanced.

Spool pegs are packed inside the storage compartment for safety in shipping. Tap them in with a hammer. Holes are pre-drilled and pegs insert easily. Thread racks also have a very nice, large carrying handle on top.
