The Long Awaited Update

As the saying goes, "Better late than never." An update every 8 months is better than an update every 9 months. Here are some new pictures of me, Kirby, and Simon, the new kitten. I hope you enjoy them and that it won't be another 8 months before Mom works on my page. Oh, thanks to all who have expressed concern over the arrow atrocity. I am happy to say I have recovered 100% and my fur has grown back enough that the bad haircut is almost entirely gone.

Here I am with Simon. This picture was taken in December right after surgery to remove infected scar tissue from the arrow exit wound.

Peek a Boo! Believe it or not, there are eyes behind all that fur. If you look closely, you can see my lovely incision with the pretty pink sutures.

Where is the "Sleep on Me" sign? All these cats seem to think I make one heck of a good bed. This is BJ. He is my favorite of all the cats.

Are we stylin' or what? Okay, maybe or what. Mom insists we wear these lovely life jackets when we go canoeing. Kirby's matches the bright yellow canoe. We are hot on the trail of a horse. We would have caught it if our clothes hadn't slowed us down. It didn't help that Mom and Dad could grab the handles on the back.

Simon will sleep with anything. She loves to curl up with Kirby.

What are they trying to feed me now???
